UFC 251 Results: Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal
UFC 251 All-Star Card Results
Kamaru Usman continues as welterweight champion by defeating Jorge Masvidal by unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45 and 49-46): This match was 25 minutes of good show in which both won. Usman because he gave a new display of his domain and Masvidal because he was brave and despite being warned only six days in advance he managed to stand up to the champion and make a showy fight.
Alexander Volkanovski retained, by split decision (48-47, 47-48, and 48-47) the UFC Featherweight Championship against Max Holloway: The rematch was similar to his first fight. The two showed very similar work. Holloway started better, but from the third round he pressed and added the right actions to take the win. There was no clear winner. As happened the other time we saw two great fighters in a very tight suit.
Petr Yan defeated Jose Aldo by TKO in the fifth round and became the UFC bantamweight champion: The budding star prevailed over the legend. Aldo played a good role in the first rounds, got the Russian in trouble ... but with the passing of the rounds the Brazilian physically went off and Yan emerged. In the last round the referee stopped the fight with just over a minute and a half of time left, but he could have done it much earlier.
Rose Namajunas defeated Jessica Andrade by split decision (29-28, 29-28 and 29-28): Namajunas went out to make the same plan that he had in his first fight. It was good and he took advantage of it. This time there was no Andrade genius. The American knew how to work well in the distance and strike, while Andrade focused more on throwing bombs and they were not enough, since they never got the winner in trouble.
Amanda Ribas subdued Paige Vanzant in the first round: She brought the fight quickly to the ground. It's jiu jitsu black belt and it showed. First she tried to close the padlock on her head, but finally she prevailed with an arm bar.

Jiri Prochazka knocked out Volkan Oezdemir in two rounds.
Muslim Salikhov beat Elizeu Dos Santos by split decision (30-27, 28-29 and 29-28)
Makwan Amirkhani subdued Danny Henry in the first round.
Leonardo Santos prevailed by unanimous decision (triple 29-26) on Roman Bogatov.

Marcin Tybura won by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27 and 30-26) over Maxim Grishin.
Raulian Paiva defeated Zhalgas Zhumagulov by unanimous decision (triple 29-28).
Karol Rosa defeated Vanessa Melo by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26 and 30-27).
Davey Grant knocked out Martin Day in the third round.
